Audit and Inspection

RM has adopted and adapted both BP Group audit process and best practice from other Business Segments and functions in creating the audit and inspection tools to be used in measuring HSSE performance of their own staff and appointed contractors.

Contractor project managers and the RM EBM shall conduct informal safety inspections. In addition to the ongoing informal inspections of the work site by supervisory personnel, Contractors shall perform formal documented inspections of the work site.

All RM project work sites and the activities there-on will be subject to inspections and audits by BP and/or RM management.

Inspection results will be documented and reviewed at the safety meetings. Any significant HSSE concerns discovered during the inspection will be immediately corrected. If corrective actions cannot be immediately taken to correct an identified HSSE concern, an action plan will be developed and the status reported at each safety meeting until the corrective action is completed.

All Contractors are expected to participate and co-operate with all RM audits of the work site or their company safety program.
