Project Safety Reviews (PSRs)
On a major or multi-sited project, a Project Safety Review (PSR) is a high level assurance process that ensures such projects are being developed with due regard to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental safety matters and that appropriate measures are being taken to identify, address and manage hazards.

PSRs are undertaken at the early stages of planning a project and can then be updated as part of a periodic review or management of change process on a project. Project closure reviews are also recommended so as lessons learned can be gathered and shared or built into standards or procedures.

They should be compiled by a team constituting parties involved in the project and led by a trained and competent person who knows the standards required.
