All BP staff and Contractors will meet or exceed the requirements as specified herein that are applicable to their work. The procedures, checklists and model examples contained within the document are extracted from central and regional BP practices. However, an attempt has been made to make the document globally interpretable and users may adapt locally with reference to terminology to enhance the understanding of the local management and workforce.

 

Where a ‘local’ plan is in place which can be mapped against the requirements contained within the sections of this document and meets or exceeds them then such a ‘Plan’ could be retained.

 

This is not an all-encompassing document and compliance is expected with all the latest editions of Regional, National or State regulatory and legislative requirements of pertinence to the work.

The HSSE Assurance Plan is to be a living document and where any questions arise regarding intent or interpretation of this document, such questions may be directed to the RM Regional HSSE Manager for clarification.
