Remediation Engineering & Technology Recommended Practices
All RM contractors/subcontractors should identify, assess and then control potential hazards associated with remediation technologies, be aware of technology safety practices, and follow available technology safety guidance and engineering standards in the design, implementation, and OM&M of remediation technologies. Our goal is no HSSE incidents related to the installation, operation, or maintenance of remediation technologies. RM expects our contractors/ subcontractors to share their knowledge of potential hazards and their best practices for controlling such hazards across global RM by active participation in the Soil and Groundwater Technology Discussion Forum, near miss/safety reports, or other mechanisms for transferring the information. All RM contractors/subcontractors should comply with the following responsibilities regarding the design, implementation, and OM&M of remediation technologies.
